Human Remains Found Buried in Yard in Page

PAGE, AZ (November 18, 2015): Late last week the Page Police Department received information about the possibility of a body being buried in a yard at 103 South Navajo Drive in Page, AZ.

A cadaver dog team with the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office responded to Page and alerted to an area in the yard. The Page Police Department contacted the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) Major Crimes District for assistance with locating the possible buried body. A buried body recovery team made up of detectives from the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), the Vehicular Crimes Unit (VCU), and the Crime Scene Response Team (CSRT), was assembled and began work on Monday, November 16, 2015.  On Tuesday, November 17, 2015, after approximately 14 hours of digging, the team located human remains consistent with that of an adult. This investigation is currently on-going.
