Aggravated Assault in Page

PAGE, AZ (December 17, 2015): On 12-9-15 at 1743 hours, officers were dispatched to the area of 6th Avenue and Elm Street in Page, Arizona to investigate a report of a stabbing had just occurred in the area.

Upon arrival, officers found the victim holding a shirt over a stab wound on the left side of his abdomen.  The wound was approximately 1 inch long and appeared deep.  The victim told officers a person ran up to him and stabbed him with a knife as he was walking down the street on 6th Avenue.  There were two witnesses in the immediate area that witnessed the assault but did not know the name of the suspect. The victim was transported to Page Hospital where he was treated for injuries as a result of the assault.
