Serial Burglary Investigation Results in Search Warrant and Arrest

PAGE, AZ (March 3, 2016):The Page Police Department began investigating a series of burglaries which began occurring in late February of 2016.

The burglaries centered around the residential area on the west side of Page, from 6th Avenue and South Navajo Drive around the loop to 6th Avenue and North Navajo Drive. Page Police Department collected evidence and gathered information resulting in the identification of a possible suspect. On March 1, 2016 the Page Police Department, with assistance from the Coconino County Sheriff’s Department, obtained and executed a search warrant at 826 Coppermine Road in Page, AZ. The suspect, identified as 29-year-old Dustin DRUDGE of Page, was arrested for numerous counts related to the burglaries, trespassing, criminal damage, and drug charges. Evidence from the search warrant linked DRUDGE to 11 different cases to this point. This investigation is on-going.

The Page Police Department will be holding an open house for the public on Tuesday March 8, 2016 from noon until 2 p.m.  We would like to meet with other potential victims, people that may have information related to these investigations and to address any concerns the community has about these incidents.  Anyone interested can stop by the police department during those times and speak with an investigator.
